These boots (Sorel conquest) are amazing! Yes, if you stand around for hours, not moving your feet, get somewhat cool. but so far I have worn them a-38 degree heat for about 5 minutes while I was hunting here in Alaska. my feet were on fire and sweaty by the time take them out. and not wearing thick socks, winter socks. After 17 years in the military I thought that I would never wear anything but Danner on my feet, but I have to hand it to Sorel
